What do I need to know to get service for a commercial washer or commercial dryer?

When you call in for service (or fill out that handy form on our main page) start with the basics. We’ll want to know what your name and phone number is so our service technician can reach you. Sometimes we’ll call to get more of a problem description or we’ll call at the end of the visit to talk about what was done to your machine.

We’ll also want to know the property name and address.

Ahead of time we like to know the make and model number of the machine. This is equivalent to saying “Ford” and “Mustang”. The make or brand name may be something like Wascomat, Electrolux, Huebsch, Speed Queen, Maytag, American Dryer, Dexter, or Milnor. To find the model number try opening the door and looking for a sticker. That is the easy way. The less convenient way is to find it on the back serial number plate. Here is a hint: you can use your phone to reach and take a picture of it. Getting us the make and model number lets us know what parts we could possibly bring to the job and hopefully save a return trip charge. It some cases it may tell us that your machine is too old to work on (let’s hope it is not that).

Finally, have a good description of what the problem is. Is the dryer not heating? Is the washer having water constantly run through it?
